Her Journey 2nd Anniversary

On August 8, 2010, Her Journey celebrated their 2nd anniversary. Launched on August 8, 2008, Her Journey’s mission is to share the extraordinary joys of travel while guiding readers on their journeys to discovering and fulfilling their individual purposes in life. Two years later, Her Journey remains dedicated to that mission.

At the Penthouse 808 of Ravel Hotel, which is appropriately located at 8-08 Queens Plaza South in Long Island City, the Her Journey team, past, present and future business collaborators, friends, and family all gathered for a private brunch. During the course of brunch, Suparna Bhasin, founder of She Creates Change, gave a brief presentation about discovering and fulfilling one’s purpose and using that to create change in not only in one’s life but also in the world. The event closed with a toast to the two amazing years and even great years to come. A special toast was also made in honor of a team member who was also celebrating at her wedding and another to The Lost Girls, special guests who were unable to make the event because of a birthday celebration.

The festivities continued with a cocktail party, to which Her Journey fans and supported came out to join in the celebration. With a view of the Queensborough Bridge and the New York City skyline, the sunset provided the perfect backdrop for a number of photos, which only captured a glimpse of the extraordinary event.
